Horizontal Mixer

Application / Use

Horizontal mixers are mainly used for mixing solids. They are fed via nozzles or flaps on the upper part of the cylindrical mixing drum and emptied via nozzles or flaps in the lower part of the mixer.

Technology

Several mixing tools are arranged on a central mixing shaft, whereby a planetary agitator system can also be used for particularly intensive mixing. Heating or cooling of the mixing material is possible via a double jacket. If required, a horizontal mixer can of course also operate in a vacuum or under pressure.

Horizontal mixer in ex-area

A version according to ATEX for use in ex-areas is also available.
